the Draft Day Party Means to MeThree years ago I was drafted in the second round of the 2001 draft by your friend and mine Jerry Jones. Sure Dave Campo was there but then again...was he ever really there?
Since that life altering experience in Jim's..uhh, I mean my life, I had no reason to look forward to the draft. That all changed when Scott showed up at Guggs' apt. With vodka and Clamato Juice in hand. Since then, the Draft has become the only reason to live. Sure, I've found Jesus, but wasn't it Christ who held the first draft? I mean he did select St. Peter, a fisherman out of the University of Galilee as the overall pick in the 30 A.D. Draft.
That is why I, Quincy Carter, have devoted my life to the Draft Day Party. Drinking like a fucking maniac is a simple way to give homage to Jesus and the NFL with hopes of in-flight celery for all!
